Tim Burns, Senior Vice President/Relationship Manager, began employment with Nebraska Bankers’ Bank (NBB) as a vice president in 2003. He was promoted to senior vice president in 2004. NBB was merged into Midwest Independent BankersBank (MIB) in 2011.
Burns assists current bank customers, and seeks out new business development for the bank. He received the President’s Achievement Award in 2005.
Burns started his banking career in 1978 with The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in Omaha. He joined National Bank of Commerce in February 1983, holding several positions including operations specialist and then conversion representative before being elected a bank officer. He then was promoted to manager of customer service and elected assistant vice president and client relationship manager.
Burns attended Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, Nebraska.
