Ron Hobson joined Midwest Independent BankersBank (MIB) in March 2015 as Vice President/Relationship Manager. He is responsible for new account development and the servicing of existing MIB customers in Illinois.

Prior to joining MIB, Hobson worked as a correspondent banking officer with Midwest Banking Services/Illini Bank. Hobson brings more than 30 years of experience within the banking industry, with expertise and proficiency in lending, business development and working with community banks throughout the Midwest.

Today, Hobson serves on the Communications/Marketing Committee and the Associate Member Committee of the Illinois Bankers Association.

Hobson earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois, Springfield, Illinois.
