Chris Bryan joined Midwest Independent BankersBank (MIB) as Vice President/Relationship Manager in April 2015. Bryan was promoted to senior vice president in December 2015. He received a promotion to sales manager of the relationship manager team in February 2016. Bryan assists current customers and prospects with correspondent banking products and services in Western Missouri.
He brings more than 21 years of previous sales experience to his relationship manager position. Bryan was employed with The Plateau Group, Inc., in Overland Park, Kansas, where he managed and retained the Individual Assurance Company clients, from Maine to Guam, due to the acquisition of IAC. For close to 20 years, he was employed with IAC as a senior vice president of sales where he developed company-training modules used today for lender training. During his tenure at IAC, he was acknowledged as number one in sales and revenue for 14 out of 18 years.
Bryan earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance and banking from the University of Missouri in Columbia. Bryan also attended the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business-Essentials of Effective Sales Management.
